(no subject)
2009 started off with a bang. Really though, who ever expected me to lose my job at Outback? Never saw that coming. But, at least Malec said he'll still transfer me to any Outback/Carraba's I chose; which saves me from the hookah bar tending job I started a week ago.
As for Alabama, I will be moving there at the end of January. It feels weird to finally make my decision, but, I'm doing it. A fresh slate is probably what I need. I'll be attending Snead State College, living on Georgia Mountain, working at Outback (still), I'll be two doors down from my aunt, uncle, grandma & cousin, who are apparently getting down on the farm life (cows, pigs, chickens, horses, etc.), & I'll be four-wheeling every day in my new (but used) jeep. Sounds like the perfect kind of life... hopefully. I just need to breathe. Maybe living on a secluded mountain surrounded by a huge lake will do the trick.
I'll miss Michigan, though...
I'm looking forward to this year. Chad's taking me to the derby, finally! I've never been. I'm so lucky to have him as my friend still. I'm turning 21 in August, finally. I'll only be a few hours away from the ocean, which I've never seen. This will all be really, really good for me... I hope.
