I am so happy to be back at River Dell, seriously.
As much as people complain about how much school sucks, it's like a dream come true. I've wanted this for so long, and now I finally have it. I think it's pretty funny that half the school is missing 'cause of construction, and that we don't have real lights in the hallways. And I feel my lungs clogging up with dust all the time. But anything is better than the Academy, so I'm content.
My classes are easy. I'm taking three AP's and one Honors class: AP US History, AP English, AP Calc BC and Hon Spanish V. I thought maybe I'd have some trouble trying to juggle 3 AP's, but it's not bad at all. I like that I can laugh at everyone because I don't have to take any science courses... because I took 5 years of science at the Academy, and RDHS only requires 3 hahaha. And I like how I get home at like 2:45, which is 2 hours earlier than I did at the Academy. I see the bus from BCA pass by my house at 4:45 and sometimes I wanna run out and like, throw shit at it. ... I'm not a bitch or anything, though.
And I was right about how I would miss BCA as much as I ever missed River Dell lol. I miss a lot of things about it... being able to sit in front of my locker with my friends, being able to choose my locker in the beginning of the year and discussing locker locations, a lot of my teachers, my free 'mods', the locker my friends and I had soley for food storage (except someone would put cookies in it or something, and they'd be gone by the end of the day and the locker would be empty for the next month or so), and my friends of course. I think it's a fair deal though, 2 years at the Academy, 2 years at River Dell. I'm glad that I got the chance to experience BCA, 'cause I've grown from it in a lot of ways. I don't regret it at all, even if freshman and sophomore year didn't seem too bright at times.
But now my mother is down my throat about how I have to valedictorian or whatever. Like that's gonna happen.
