(no subject)
So...this weekend has been interesting.
I went to the mall with Tara this morning and fell in love with this dress:
I saw it in BCBG and knew I had to have it. When I tried it on I came out of the dressing room so Tara could see, and one of the guys working there said I looked "glamourous." So, fifteen seconds and $252 later, it was mine. Not only that, but I have the most perfect shoes to go with it.
I was thoroughly enthused, to say the least.
After BCBG, we went to Sephora and I got new mascara, gold eyeliner, and a teal/shimmery white eyeshadow set, all of which I really love.
I almost went into Heidi's to set up an appointment for next weekend, but I didn't because I still haven't decided what I want to get done with my hair. I know I want to dye it darker, but I'm torn between coloring it either a dark, chocolatey color, or auburn. Then (it doesn't matter which color I end up choosing), I'll get lighter highlights through it so it's not only one dimension. I don't think I'll be getting it cut much shorter, maybe just slightly above my shoulders, since all I really care about is getting rid of my split ends.
Anyway, since I plan on looking nothing short of breathtaking next weekend with the new dress and new hair, I'm thinking I need to make some fabulous plans. Dinner at a nice restaurant? Romantic walk on the beach? Night on the town?
Whatever the case, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
