(no subject)
I'm in the process of uploading vacation pics... so i thought it was time for an update...
Monday:
-went to IHOP
-drove to Virginia Beach
-got checked in and walked around town
-decided to go parasailing.. had an awesome time, and got dunked in the ocean
-paid way too much for an okay dinner
-went for a night walk on the beach
-woke up a lot in the night because of the A/C unit kicking on and off and just the noise of Virginia Beach in general (trash trucks, jets, emergency vehicles, etc)
Tuesday:
-went to IHOP
-drove to Busch Gardens (stayed from 10:30ish am to 9pm).. very clean park.. and beautiful!
-rode a lot of cool rides, but my fav was the Griffon
-got a wooden sign made for our future home that says "The Berkhouse Family Est Jan. 2009"
-got a caricature done of the two of us on the beach... you've definitely gotta check that out on myspace! (hilarious)
-went back to the hotel and ordered pizza
Wednesday:
-woke up to the fire alarm at 7:30ish... (false alarm, but we had to wait for the fire dept. before they could turn it off)
-walked down the road to Waffletown and had half of a ginormous belgain waffle
-bought a couple body boards and t-shirts
-checked out of the hotel
-spent a couple hours on the beach
-drove to Andy's aunt Lois's house
-played with their German Shephard Roxy
-had some mouthwatering steak for dinner
-played Rock Band with his cousins until time for shower and sleep
Thursday:
-toured Fredericksburg
-looked at antiques in "Old Towne"
-bought a tote in one of their many gigantic shopping malls
-convinced an Asian man that I really didn't want a bamboo tree at that very moment
-finally headed back home
-ate dinner at Ruby Tuesday's... quite possibly the best sirloin and shrimp I've ever had.. it was covered in parmesian sauce *drools*
-got home, unpacked and played with my puppy (I missed her SO much!)
Today:
-went to breakfase with Andy and his dad.. then they headed off to a Boy Scout camp thing for the weekend and I came home..
-caught up on laundry
-uploaded pics
-missing Andy!
