Ah, the phone. How Havoc hates the phone. A monster in black. He stared at it. He wanted it to stay in it’s silent sleeping position. If it rings. He’d shoot it. He didn’t have a gun, but he’d shoot in anyway. With the pillow. Yeah. The pillow. Perfect. Not enough to break his expensive phone, but enough to knock it down, maybe even knock off the receiver, leaving the one on the other end hanging. Yeah. That’s it. Use a pillow.
It never rang.
He stared at the sleek electronic for five more minutes. Nothing. He dug in his pocket for his cell phone and sat it next to the actual phone. Both were silent. He was waiting, in his military uniform, waiting. Roy would call. He would say something about a bogus mission in case anyone was tapping, and Havoc would go to his glorious apartment. This happened very frequently, and Roy didn’t keep up steady visitations. No. He had to make Havoc sit there, like an idiot, keys in hand, waiting for the phone. Waiting. Before, Roy used to surprise him by a brick through the window, but Havoc bought him a phone. Worst idea ever. By about two o-clock in the morning, Havoc decided to turn off his cell phone and go to bed. He opened it. “52 Messages”. His cell phone was on silent.

Hey, get your ass over here. I decided to just txt you, so that we don’t have to worry about tapping.
‘Oh. Shit.’ Havoc thought and paged through the rest of the messages, mostly Roy cussing him out and then apologizing profusely. At first, he thought it was sweet how persistent Roy was with his messages, and without thinking, Havoc then deleted them all and messaged him back.

Srry. Fone was on silent. Frgot to check it. Think I could come over now?
He then put his phone on Loud and set it back down on the nightstand, now staring at his keys. None of the lights were on. He looked at the illuminated cover. It beamed 2:32am. Then, with a loud ringing alert the screen flashed, “1 New Message”.

Get your ass over here.
Havoc got up, and put his phone in one of the many pockets fitted on his uniform and grabbed his keys, twirling them around his finger as he began the decent down the stairway from his apartment. Outside, his car was parked in the complimentary parking lot. He unlocked his door and slid inside, the leather interior squeaking when he sat down. He started the car and rested his hands on the steering wheel, now noticing how tired he really was. He started to doze when the ringing alert went off in his pocket. “1 New Message.”

And don’t you DARE fall asleep you asshole!
Havoc backed out of his parking spot and made his way to Roy’s apartment building. It was only six blocks away, but he was way too tired to walk there, and Roy was way too impatient to wait for him to walk there. He took the main road, it was empty except for the occasional drunk stumbling onto the road, causing Havoc to swerve onto the other side.
Six blocks later, Havoc parked his car across the street from Roy’s apartment building. It was of course, better then his, but it wasn’t amazing. The bed didn’t feel like cardboard, and he had nice clean carpet. He locked his car doors and opened the door to the main building. There was a large lobby, unlike his which was just a small foul-smelling foyer. There were Red walls countering red carpet and curtains, with gold framed furniture and plush red fabric. Five one person chairs and one long couch. He looked at the Check-in desk, they had left for the night. He was walking to the stairs when a slight snore stopped him in his tracks. On one of the red, lush sofas, was Roy. Sleeping. In purple and blue long sleeved pajamas. His gloves were off and he was curled up barefoot with a small red pillow with gold tassels in his arms. Havoc quietly put his keys in his pocket with his cell phone and sat next to the dozing Roy. He felt Roy’s hair and let it fall over his face. He smiled to himself and an amazing urge for a cigarette overwhelmed all his senses. He reached into an inside pocket and got out a cigarette and a lighter. Once it was lit, smoke bellowed from it, and the smell woke up Roy.
“Good morning.” Havoc said, taking his cigarette out of his mouth and blowing out the smoke.
“Why are you smoking? Did we have sex already?” Roy rubbed his eyes.
“No, I got here and you were sleeping. I got bored.”
“I was not sleeping, I was resting my eyes for a long period of time-”
“And sleeping.” Havoc’s lips curled around his cigarette.
“Ngh.” Roy said sitting up and looking at Havoc. “Why didn’t you wake me?”
“Because you just looked way too cute.” Havoc took out his cigarette and put it out on the gold frame of the couch and tucked the small bit that was left in his pocket. He planted a small kiss on a part of Roy’s forehead, revealed by parted hair.
Roy leaned forward more and latched onto Havoc’s arm. Havoc let Roy caress his uniform, taking in Roy’s luxurious smell, while Roy did the same to Havoc.
“It’s been three days, Havoc.” Roy said looking up.
“And whose fault is that?” Havoc said looking down.
“The one who can’t answer his phone.” Roy said climbing further up Havoc’s side and resting his hands on Havoc’s shoulder and putting his chin atop them.
“Well, I hate phones. You know that.” Havoc said looking at the wall now.
“I like phones. They work well when you can’t come.” Roy smiled a devious smile.
Havoc almost fainted, but he jotted upward and leaned forward a bit before looking back at Roy, “I didn’t quite catch that…”
Roy leaned farther up and lightly kissed Havoc’s lips. “I’m just kidding you stupid ass.”
“You keep calling me an ass, I might have to push yours away.”
“Lair. You can’t resist me.”
“I can resist that attitude.” Havoc said, turning his head a most painful way to kiss Roy on the lips like he did to him. When Havoc leaned away from Roy, Roy kissed him, and then Havoc held Roy’s face there. Roy turned his head to allow Havoc better access to his mouth. Roy learned this helped by watching American romance movies with Havoc, but Havoc never really watched them, he just waited for Roy to get horny and they did it in the nearest bed/chair/kitchen table. Havoc never minded watching them, but when he did he fell asleep and Roy hated it when Havoc fell asleep and he’d throw him out.
Havoc planned to stay awake now. But Roy didn’t. Roy ended up breaking the kiss and falling backward. Havoc caught his shoulders, but Roy was out cold. He was sleeping. Again. Havoc sighed.
“And you told me not to fall asleep…” Havoc carried Roy up the stairs. Roy lived on the seventh floor and this apartment lacked any sort of elevator. This could take a while…
