um...college?...
ok so i have learned today that college is extremely exhausting
i feel like ima pass out and its only my first day
ok woke up at 630 left house at 730 got to school 1/2 hr earlier than my first class
walked around..made it clearly obvious that i was a freshman...i think i passed the same building twice just for the heck of it
math.. mcauley culkin is in my math class......ok no not really lol but he sure looks like him.... ok neways my teacher was like 10 min. late..hurrah.... she has an accent...idk where she culd be from cuz its an accent i never heard b4
she seems nice... she seems willing to take time to help us.... however... i believe shes a speed demon...i will explain in a sec
ok so this girl asked to sit down next to me (later found out it was cuz i "didn't look scary") ... thanks...? lol
neways... so yea.. i spent my day w/ this girl...shes ok... she's very outgoing... my complete opposite
we get outa math and i find out that this girl is NOT in my lab class..i was like ahhh! wat?...so neways we walked to the computer room neways and she sed that she was gonna wander around for like and hr then come bak and meet me there....very nice
ok so i go inside... i see a girl i met on facebook lol and there are like 3 ppl in my lab class...well maybe 5...i didnt notice if the other 2 were in my math class the period b4...anways...lets just say there are 3...so it me..the freshman from facebook..n then like this middle aged woman...very wierd...she transferred from suffolk?...yea idk...w/e shes in my class lol
ok so lab= using this program called Maple in the computer lab and typing in all this crap load of stuff to figure out mathematical equations...yea i know..sounds difficult...well guess wat...it was! i was lost...and of course im like one of a small handful of ppl in my class whose never used the program b4 b/c i just came from AP calc ...
ok so neways... me n the other freshman girl ...well our computers weren't on.... so we hadda turn them on.... and the teacher knew this...but yet..she went right ahead and started her demonstration as our computers are starting up....

ok so i finally get in and she's like wayyyyy ahead....so im trying to catch up..im typing in all this crap like for example... prog({5*x^2,8*x,-2..2)}; i was like oh .. my .. god
and of course my teacher didnt turn the lights off in the room so im staring at this chalkboard w/ a projection on it and trying to figure out if a comma is a comma...or if its just a period... thank god for this senior assistant there or else i wulda screamed
ok so neways...somwheres down the line...im far behind cuz one of the sequences im typing in isnt working ... so i raise my hand and im like...im stuck lol
so the teacher comes over..and shes like ok...click this..and highlight this line...so i try to do it..and for some reason it highlighted that line and the one below it....and my teachers like "no nooo..not that one"...duhhhh lady lol... so i try it again..same thing happens...she "no no's" me again... asks if i want her to do it...im like sure... so somehow she does it... so she tells me to type in some stuff...and i get up to the parenthesis and i guess my finger wasnt holding the shift down hard enough....so i ended up with a 0 ...which i realized right away...but of course my teacher's like "no... a parenthesis no zero..no zero"...
im convinced she thinks im a retard now lol.
but neways...even after her doing it...somen funky happens and instead of gettin a graph i get like a page full of numbers.... the assistant sed it was probably just the computer.... (i still thought it was me...lol)...but then when i went to print my lovely mess... it didnt print.... so yea.. that computer didnt like me
ok so neways..i get outa that room and the girl i met in math is waiting for me..which was nice... she tells me that ima be like her only girl friend cuz she's never gotten along w/ the girl's at her school..shes always been friends w/ guys.... hm... yea... idk
ok so... we wander...and wander... and i get completely lost..but somehow she knew where she was going... ? yea... wierd
ok so its like 1045.... and we havta wait around for this BBQ at 1240... we were like ... omg thats so far away... so we just sat in a nice air conditioned hallway for like an hr or so...im glad she had sat next to me in math cuz i swear...i dont know wat i wuld have done for those 2 hrs
ok so finally we decide... we are cold..so we go outside and sit...it was BEAUTIFUL out
and after a while she goes to me "you see that guy in the striped shirt sittin by himself?..he looks kinda lonely"...which was true... but im not the type to just go up to a kid and be like "hey.. wanna come sit w/ me?" lol
so neways...being the outgoin girl that she is...she yells to him..."hey kid.... kid...striped shirt..yea you" lol and shes like "you look all alone... whats wrong".and the guy was like ..im just sitting....and shes talking to him..and im just sittin there like... im just her sidekick in this lol...and so we find out this guy is like 22...scared to go out into the businesss world .a.nd decided to stay in college for as long as he could...yea thats so gonna be me in 5 yrs lol
ok then the BBQ was finally ready... worst hero's ever...the stuff was falling out like no body's business lol...saw lisa spadanuta...she followed us around...saw my orientation buddy bridget...then i was like...ok im going home..cuz we didnt have to go to class
and that was about it...got home at about 1:30
