oh what a nightmare
true value paint is apparently the most horrendously shitty paint one can buy. how do i know this, and why do i care, you ask? because it is turning into a royal nightmare. i bought 3 gallons of paint for the gallery walls and turns out each is a slightly different shade, streaky, and not opaque. 3 coats later, tenting the already installed artworks for the third, and i am informed i need to find a way to take the works down from one major wall, buy new matching paint of another brand, paint, and then reinstall--all to be finished before the opening this wednesday. it will take likely a full day of reinstalling, and i work today through monday. now considering how much has gone wrong already, i am not all too excited about the nonexistant margin of error this round...
