I still love Paris. But I wish she'd pick a song that would make me go WOW! when she was done. My favorite from her is "Midnight Train to Georgia," because it was fun and she still did well vocally. Tonight wasn't bad, I guess I'm just expecting more from her because she's so good.
Same deal on song selection with Lisa. Every week she picks this songs I've never even heard of, and she does well, but it's never wow.
I say Kennik and Melissa are going home.
I loooooooove Katharine McPhee!! I've got MCPHEEVER!!! :D She's so freakin' cute, and she's a really good singer. Tonight showed that, I think - she took a song that could have turned into a karaoke song if someone else had sung it, and she showed off her silly side and sang it incredibly well. I adore her. Her and Kellie are my two new favorites, and I still love Paris. She really reminds me a lot of me, too.. I would be all giggly and jumping around and stuff toooo :D
Mandeesa is amazing. Every week she comes out and does awesome, and she did great again this week. For some reason though, I feel like she's kind of being overshadowed, even though she has a great voice. I have no doubt she'll make it through to the next round, but I don't know how long she'll stay around, even though her voice is excellent.
Kellie Pickler is possibly the cutest thing on the planet. "I'm a MINK!" lmaooo. She's so cute and bubbly, and her accent just makes me smile. I totally agree with Simon about her - she's not the best singer (although she does sing well), but it's her likeability factor that is shooting her up. And it's so true! The whole thing tonight just left me giggling long into House =)
ETA: I hate Ayla. Still. I want to shove her in a hole and never let her out. WTF was she wearing tonight?! She looked like she was going to the beach or something.. It just didn't fit. I love that song, and I hated her singing it. She did it exactly like Natasha, and it wasn't even that good. Blah. Go away already.
