i do not feel as though i have ever expressed my love for the summer olympics. so i shall: i fucking LOOOOVE the summer olympics!!
gymnastics is by far my favorite, given the fact that i've always wanted to be one. i was displeased by the chinese teams winning both the men's and women's all-around team competitions, but they deserved it. i wanted to punch alicia sacramone in the face when she fucked up. and though i wanted desperately for shawn johnson to win the individual all-around gold (because she is adorable and i want to keep her in my pocket forever and ever), i am very pleased that nastia won because she is older and extremely talented and i have lots of hearts for her.
i feel as though i may have been watching too much olympics because for the past three nights i have dreamed about michael phelps being my boyfriend. don't get me wrong, it was very pleasing -- have you SEEN him without a shirt on?! -- but i think that may be a sign that i need olympic rehab or something. but srsly, michael phelps, i ♥ you like woah. marry me plz?
