the only thing that's kind of the saving grace about this for me is that for once, for ONCE, they didn't make mark out to be the bad guy. shonda's had a rep of making mark the perpetual asshole who messes everything up, but at least this time, addison was the asshole. mark only lied because he loves her so much that he wants her to be free and happy and get what she wants.
it breaks my heart that mark told that to her (and i'm not sure she completely believes it), but it makes me feel a little better about things.
