Wow. Just wow.
I read everyone's entries and I'm just amazed. You all got jobs, a whole lot of you moved out... you all have lives, everyone's happy.
Me? Oh. Instead of becoming an assistant to a Herbologist who works in one of the top Herbology Research Facilities in the country, I am now just an Assistant Healer over at St. Mungo's.
I don't know why I suddenly changed my mind. I probably wasn't that confident I would make it well in Herbology.
And I'm currently staying at The Leaky Cauldron. Why? It's a long story, you see, but I'll try and make it short.
You see, when I last posted, I just found out that my father got arrested and is now in Azkaban. Authorities found out that he's a Death Eater and the one responsible for my mother's death. (Yes. I know. My Dad was a Slytherin and my mother was a Ravenclaw. There were never any Hufflepuffs in both their families, until I came along of course.)I don't like talking about it.
The house me and my parents lived in was taken away for reasons I still do not understand. I think my parents intended for it to be passed on to one of my mother's cousins. My mother always said she wanted me to get a new house of my own, anyway. Whatever it was, it's just not my house anymore. I'm also an only child, so I was left with nobody to go home to. Well, I know I am old enough to live on my own, but I needed a home to prepare myself for my job and all that. My aunt agreed to have me stay for a while, maybe a week or so.
I hated it there. Ergh. Bloody horrible. I wasn't liked there at all. I don't blame her. Of course she wouldn't like me at the fact that I'm a Hufflepuff, when all her blood relatives are either Ravenclaws or Slytherins. I was taunted nonstop during my stay.
After only 3 days, I packed my bags, and apparated to The Leaky Cauldron in the middle of the night.
And here I am.
But now, I'm just looking for a place to stay at for the summer. I always feel awfully cold over here at The Leaky Cauldron for some reason. I'll make sure that I get enough money for a place of my own as soon as possible.
