My summer, so far, has been exceptionally hectic--
but hey, I like it that way.
So, I got the lead, as Miss Babe Williams,
in the St. Bridget Musical "The Pajama Game".
Playing opposite lead is Mr. Brendan Flavin.
This is certainly going to be interesting.
So far though, it's been amazingly fun. :)
If you'd like to come view the show,
dates are: July 22, 23, & 24, with 7:00pm shows on
Friday & Saturday, & a matinee at 2:00pm on Sunday.
Tickets are $15 (which includes a delicious tri-tip dinner),
so get 'em while they're hot.
Let me know if you want to go!
This past Saturday,
my hula/polynesian dance troupe, Kawalea, & performing arts group, Vivace, performed at the annual Lotus Festival at Echo Park in L, which was most definitely oodles of fun and excitement, being the Arciaga sisters' first performance with Vivace, and about 5th with Kawalea. I totally screwed up "Since U Been Gone", but "Hey Ya" made up for it... all I have to say is that you should've been there, & I should've posted this earlier.
That's right... my first actual sleeopver. It's a filipino parent thing, usually. So flipping fun. I love my best friends. :)
There were so many more pictures taken, but someone didn't send them all to me! :p jk tati, i love you!
Watched the original Amnittyville Horror, danced to Daron's (sp?) Dance Grooves, took billions of pictures with Tati's new digicam, made ice cream sandwiches, gazed in wonder at Lyndsey's unbelievably fat cat, ate junk food like there was no tomorrow, pulled an all-nighter... then I had to "wake up" for mass... what a burn. Nevertheless, it was the best sleepover ever. :)
Yessssss, indeed. Went to Chuck E Cheese for my little sister Jospehine's best friend's birthday. The absolute worst Chuck E Cheese I have ever been to in the history of Chuck E Cheese's I have been to. Terrible. No skee-ball, no basketball, NOTHING. The only great thing there was, of course, the food, and the sketching picture thing. Took 10 pictures. haha. What else was I going to do with those tokens? Oh, except for when Joselyn (my sister, if you all did not know) blew them on that one game where you press the button and whatever number it lands on determines the number of tickets you win, and jet-ski. :p Oh well, Joselyn and I, being our crazy selves, managed to escape the boredom and laugh hysterically about the most random things ever. Those are the Arciaga girls, for you. Strange, but true- I love my sisters. :)
