guess who's back?
Welll...it's been a while since I've updated here. Kind of lost track of time, lots of stuff has been going on- problems with friends, relationships, the world ending (and amazingly, beginning again) and of course, the 4th of July. So with all of that, I'm still here. And life is moving on. This week has been great- the 4th was super fun.
I went out and bought like $80.00 worth of fireworks (would have loved to have bought more, but money was an issue on that one) and then on Tuesday, me and JJ went to my grandma's who lives right on the Mississippi River for dinner and fireworks. Me, JJ and my cousin Mike had bottle rocket wars. Mike was in a paddleboat on the river and me and JJ were in an inflatable raft (super bad idea) shootin bottle rockets off at eachother. It was so fun. Until that is, our battle ship (or should I say the inflatable raft) was sunk. Sparks burnt holes in the raft and we had to head to shore. So then after that we all piled into the paddleboat, Mike, JJ, me and all our fireworks. And then the fun began. JJ lit off mortars while holding the tube in his had, thus blowing out the bottom of his tube and burning holes in his shirt and jeans. Then I lit a mortar and tried to throw it but I didn't have much luck with that, and I burned my thumb pretty bad. We lit off M-70s, M-5000s, bottle rockets of all sizes, roman candles, mortars, strobe lights, water dynamite, you name it would messed with it. And at the end of the night, we all had burn holes in our clothes and we were probably equally burned as well.
It was amazing. This week, I've been able to spend nearly every day with JJ. Either playing 'Halo', watching movies in his room, or just being together. And let me tell you this, being with him is nearly all I need and I'm happy.
&&I've got another obsession: driving around in Keokuk. On occasion I'll be there waiting for JJ to get off work or go on break and I'll just amuse myself by crusing around in Keokuk looking at all the people with faster and nicer cars then mine, and occasionally, some of them actually mess with me because they think my car is fast (hehe but they dont know its so not fast). So yeah, loads of fun there. Anyways, I think that's enough of a ramble update for today. Later.
