So Geist: The Sin-Eaters? Really amazing. I think I'm going to buy a hardcopy of it as a birthday present to myself, and save Vampire: The Requiem for later, since everyone and their mom has it floating around BSFFA. I also already have my Munchkinland character's costume in my head, which can't be a bad thing, considering.
Last night we had about 70 people in BSFFA, and oh man it was really cool. I really like Open House, it's definitely a great way for the incoming freshman to see what we're about in a positive light. I hope that they can break us out of our shell a little more, and some of them were even asking about how to get merit, which is a little ambitious this early in the year.
My story/novel Black City is still in its developing stages, since I can't really get up the courage to do anything more than worldbuild. Geist: The Sin-Eaters will definitely be a huge inspiration to keep pushing myself to actually do something with the cool with the world I made.
My cat Veronica, of 14+ years, is seriously ill, but the vet doesn't know what. Her back leg is giving her a lot of pain to the point where she hasn't really moved from my room, and as a result my mom has moved Veronica's water, food, and litterbox into my room, despite the fact that she's now hiding in a nest in my closet. There's more to it, but it's stuff that people don't want to hear about. I'm really scared that she'll die or have to get put down, and my fear that something like this could happen while I'm away at school has come true. I'd actually appreciate it if people wouldn't really bring it up to me. I can bring it up on my own, thanks, and I already feel anxious enough about it as is.
