so being that it's 2am and i feel like i can't go to bed because i have homework that i really should do buuut also being that i'm not at all in the mood to continue doing homework i decided to say whatup el jay?!

so college is...different. i was sure that i'd come here and fall completely in love with it the instant i set foot on campus buuut that didn't so much happen. i miss my friends and i miss how easy everything was at home. u of i is HARD! i definitely didn't anticipate it being as difficult as it is academically. i was getting a solid D in my chemistry class (don't ask me why i took chemistry...and theeeen don't ask me why i didn't take intro and instead took an advanced chemistry course with 95% of the kids being pre-med or engineers..) but i made the best decision in life and dropped down to intro to chem and my life has definitely significantly improved. however, i have recieved a B on EVERY exam or major paper i've done here and it's reeeally lame. college sucks. i miss getting a's.

anyways, socially it's pretty cool here. i've made some really amazing friends and i definitely see a lot of my new friendships blossoming into really awesome thangs.

i'm growing to love it here more and more each day.

first college party with my roommate geoffrey & maya and dee dee. dee dee and i do lunch daily and she's definitely one of my best friends here.

first night at the bars! the two girls on the top, lauren to the left and katy field in the center are two of my best friends here. they're both from louisville, kentucky and i looove them.

greg and i make cut-off sweatpants and take ghetto pictures in my dorm room in our oversize south pole sweats. we make tyra proud.

i'm with these 5 quiiite often. from left brenda, lauren, me, katy, dee dee and anne. this was at olive garden for katys birthday..soo good!

i've actually turned straight for lauren. ps.

this is allie. she's my chem buddy (in both 101 and 102..haha) we went to her BARNDANCE together and let me tell you...it was quite a fantastic time.

loooove her!

lockport reunion! i see quite a lot of people from lockport, especially on the weekends! kj came down from iowa that weekend.

maggggie fisher! another one of my chem girls. she's pretty fantastic.

greg and i go on bike rides and take obnoxious pictures.

sometimes, though, it's just nice to be home...

graaaaaack!

jaymeeeeeee

saw my best friend and loooved it!

basically, at the end of the day...there's pretty much waaay too much amazing things in my life to not love it.
