i'm goin down to tucker's town
chronologically speaking, this all happened three days before all the longbranch business, for those of you keeping track. (of course you're keeping track, this is all very important). so after graduation on thursday, we all stayed over at lorraine's place in manasquan (you already knew this), and then friday morning a few pictures happened.
amanda and dave chillin/recoopin/smizzokin on the front steps.
only you can prevent forest fires
amanda was sheepish
dave was woodchuckish
jaykayy. dave is nothing like a woodchuck (except for maybe being mammals, etc.). i just figured if you went with me on 'sheepish' then i had a shot.
so then lorraine's all 'yo sup'
and dave's all 'pose wit me bizznatch'
and lorraine's all 'aight mofugga but gimme dem boobehzz'
wait i think this was the night i lost my cellphone into the morning i found my cell phone? we had gone on the beach the night before, and somehow it must have fallen out of my pocket. long story short, lorraine randomly called my phone in the morning, wondering if we would hear it ring or something, and a man answered it (?). i think his name was brett but i forget, which surprises me. he was a morning-beach-patrol guy who was combing the sand and found my phone, and told her to send me to the building on first and some street blah blah whatever i got it back. i went from awful to awesome pretty quickly on that. and it was totally on vibrate. true story. now kiss me.
or, lorraine kiss dave, and dave, we want you to look as uninvolved as possible. oh wait, good job.
jes will not like this picture of herself. but i like this picture of herself.
lorraine insisted (and we neither disagreed nor resisted) that we go to this breakfast place that makes roughly 289328974 kinds of omelettes, so we got naked and piled in cars
while we waited for our table, the sisters were all up in each other's business
we perused the menu, to begin narrowing down our choices. read a few of them...
...206 is the clear winner.
SUNFLOWER'DDD!
now go ahead and explain to me how that's not actually a sunflower, but a black-eyed-susan or some crap, cuz that really matters. you are so lame.
lorraine snapped this pic of her new motto on the wall next to our table:
back to the house
how seriously american is that photo? look, dave agrees
... clearly. then ami and carrieanne came back from a walk
and then ami made fun of me for taking pictures and went inside, and then i took another picture
and then i got in the car and probably started singing really loudly. on to tuckerton for helen's birthday!
and it was obv a pool party. bring on teh baybehzz!
how adorable is anthony? helen thinks hes the cutest baby going, and i tell her she's an overbearing mother who can't see past her own child.
but yeah, anthony is adorable, shhhh don't let her know...
just fyi, i took about a billionty pics of helen+matt+anthony this day, and i am exercising great restraint in only putting up about a third of them. i believe that is called 'editing' and i am getting better. can we talk about the weather?
oh right before the pool was the sunblock
which clearly the boy loved
he griped a little but never got too crabby...
wokka wokka wokka!
... aaand moving on. family+richard walk to the water
... with some practice for the next X-Games: Stroller Events along the way.
oh wait more sunblocking
ok back to walking, but actually some birds
did we already talk about the weather?
we reached the water, and the parents hightailed it away from the little brat
i'm just kidding relax. he's not a brat, and matt is actually holding him, you can see his little chicken arm and head if you look close. but if you look fast it totally looks like they just abandoned the baby and are dashing for the water, and i think that's funny. so there.
somebody call bennetton
chillin on the way back
did you notice his stroller is a jeep? how hot is that
did we already talk about the weather?
by the time we were driving to dinner, anthony was hammered
btw we ate in LBI at blue, which is my favorite restaurant of life, or at least part of life, be quiet it's good/cool and bring your own wine you jerk. we had a few minutes to kill before our reservation was ready so we drove down by barnegat light and looked at the water.
insane, no? discuss.
back to tuckerton, as the sun sinks slowly in the west
current desktop wallpaper:
helen asked me if i would take a few pictures of the family, so we went out back to the dock to see what we could see
was an awesome time of day, as you can see. at first anthony wasn't havin' it
but then he started to loosen up
and soon we were snappin family portraits like they were goin out of style
but the sun was in his eyes and he goes a little scrunchyface.. and the shadow on helen's face is my fault
some readjusting
and then i got this next picture, which i think is so nice of them, all summery and colorful, so i had it blown up [KABOOM!] and made a big print of it with a nice frame and matting and everything for their new residence. i said kaboom!
so by now anthony was totally in the groove, somebody call tyra
and that's all we got kids. thanks for playing along-
