Feeling more creative and motivated lately.
Cultivating a new hobby that I am fully enjoying, I like it best becuase I feel like it can help people too! I've begun growing herbs and other plants that have good uses (aside from smelling and looking good). I hope to get a few new ones together too soon here - no time limit or anything really. Its simple and peaceful: I sing to them while I water them and then Friday and I play around next to them. They are doing better being the center of the house close to where people always are.
Today I put together a small little 'betta garden' (an uncruel one I might add) by simply getting a nicly shaped glass, colorful marbels, a beautiful Betta fish and some lucky bamboo. They are sitting happily atop the bookshelf right now...good to see him moving around so much - the ones in the store were all quite still and unhappy looking. Brandon named him 'Fishnu Lord of the Bamboo Garden'. I even bought bloodworms to feed our Lord of the Garden ;)
Also if anyone is interested I have rediscovered the name of the ultimate pet of whom I have always wanted. You see I used to collect salamanders and my mother insisted that I learn all about them to better care for them well...one of their 'cousins' is called an Axolotl. CHECK IT OUT @ www.axolotl.org - they are SOO CUTE! I love them. Just wanted to share that with you.
Work is ramping down early this year - its really kinda scary actually. Usually in July we have atleast two shifts but nope not this year. Oh well...I just hope that they do what they can as it is all that we can ask of them. I am just kinda sad to see the place so empty. Dosent seem right somehow.
Finished the Harry Potter book and all that. I was right. So there. ;P enough said.
Did I mention that Brandon's computer blew up? Yeah it did...we still have to think of who to take it too and get it fixed...it wont even turn on at this point so we cant save/steal his documents - which is what we really care about. Silly boy not backing everything up when it starts acting funny...*sniff* I hope it gets better soon. poor comptuer.
