Not a well written argument I have, just frustrations with the US gov't
Is it me or did this world at one point seem to be progressing to an accepting, tolerant society? Because it now seems it's all back slided into this ultra-conservative religious right wing society. It makes me sick. I hate the hypocracy of the Catholic church. They are so "accepting" and "loving" of God's children. Please give me a fucking break! In San Diego a gay nightclub owner died of a heart attack or something and he was supposedly catholic, the arch Bishop diocese of San Diego refused to give him a funeral beause of that. So then the family of the man went to a Protestant church, where again they were denied a proper funeral. A week later after being buried without a Mass, the Catholic Bishop then decided he'll now give them a mass. I mean how pathetic is that! I'm sorry, but every day the US in particular wants to make me scream and cry. It's not even that I'm generalizing all my fellow citizens, but there really are fucking morons running the country.
These stupid right wing fuckers can't seem to see that they're the ones basically supporting school violence, like the one yesterday, 10 kids shot dead at a High School in Minn. Give up your God damn redneck Gun laws! Do you really need to hunt that bad? Is it really that worth it to shoot some fake targets out in the forest? Is it worth kid's lives who get shot? Or how about the thousands of people who die each year from Gun violence? Go to Europe and there is a SIGNIFIGANT difference in gun violence sats.
I mean who the fuck is running this country? Really? It makes utter no sense to me. And the worst part of it is, the majority of the US population don't realize how it COULD be different, COULD be better, if they made some changes.
And then the whole contradicting the consitutional rights we have. If we're supposedly all equal, and such a tolerant country for anyone (give me your tired, your poor) to inhabit, why is it this police state that controls what anyone does. Gay marriage - how the hell is it hurting the actual christians? I mean really, does it sicken them that much? Is it that big of a deal?
