(no subject)
My dad bought me the Sims 2 as a surprise for me the other day. The day after it came out, actually. So I'm obviously gonna install it right away. After that whole process is done. I get incredibly excited to play it. I open it up, it gets to the welcoming screen & wouldn't you know what happens?
Yeah, my monitor blows up. I smelled a twinge of smoke, some things crackled, then BAM, no more monitor. So I am monitorless, Simless, and very much in a sad mood. I can't install it on my parents computer. It has too much junk on it. And my dad's computer is just retarded and is super slow. I won't even talk about my brother's. So I am left without a monitor. No monitors I can use around the house that can hold that big of a resolution anyway.
I went to Dell.com and they had a cheap flat screen 19" monitor that seemed nifty. It was only $220 or something. I don't really need a flat panel, though, that would be nice. Expensive though.
