I'll Tell You Something...

I know I love the season autumn a little more than people believe...

"Leave a footprint in the dirt, leading me by, step-by-step. Let me follow behind you so i don't get lost, just like old times. Maybe this time I'll follow through and won't get mislead, and smile so proud of doing so, but bite my lip anxious to relive those memories again.

Hidden behind your shadow I am, a dark place so cold and unescapeable. ESCAPE. That's what I need, I need to escape it all, breathe the autumn air that foretells a sweet render. Trees deared in the flutter of butter yellow and pumpkin tart orange leaves blow itself onto the pavement of a sidewalk collecting stories.

The alpenglow of a tender sunset attempts to sing gentle lullabyes to those who stare, the plum pink color of the sky powdered, dull acrylic-like clouds accompanying the scenery of an amber scheme.

Fiddle your fingertips against the jagged tree bark leaning against it so, pull a leaf painted in cherry red out from your hair strands, the cuticles chilled by the governed temperature. Let that fire that burns inside you keep you warm and just not to me telling me how you remember.

Remember me, remember this place, remember something-I'm a lost memory. Your lips will blister finding remembrance from an unknown inspiration but for now scratch the back of your head and think of it. Just figure it all out and whisper the honest mystery held up by pieces once before and let me know...if you do know, never know? Who knows...my eyes drip an endless oblivion losing sight of autumn, the deep chesnut glaze overwhelmed by the illuminous frame of the iris sketched in a black endure. "Swish" and "swing", seated on a rusted swing held by chains, linked together held by HOPE...."

I need to finish it, but I'm still trying to finish up;I wrote it during Chemistry class, so yay I guess...and all that jazz. i hope you guys liked the unfinished poem. "Goodbyes' are forever..but I'm not saying 'goodbye' today."
