(no subject)
so, it's been nearly a month since my last update, i can't write in detail about everything that has happened in my life, but here's the best i can do in a brief recap...
worked - two saturdays ago my manager sent me home early cuz i was sick, but she thought i 'took something' and told everyone at work that i had and that's why i couldn't be there to work. last saturday i called in because i needed sleep more than i needed money, it was okayed by rachel, but since michelle was running the morning shift, she thought she had the right to write me up for an unexcused absence. i had to fight the write up, and i did, after venting to at least 5 people about it, and ended up getting 'next time, just make sure to say that you're sick' from julie.
schooled - i attended my classes, like usual... handed in the group news story, the teacher said ours was the best in the class. :) last thursday i toured the wcco station with my broadcasting class, met the 6pm anchors. did u know there's only one other person in the room when they tape live?- other than the talent
in public relations, we ended up putting together our pr plan in time, with everything that was required to be there and some. i think our presentation was the best, cuz it showed that we actually researched to get information and put some time into it. yep :)
activities - went to the mn international film festival, only saw one movie by myself at block e though, it was called 'mutual appreciation,' it was shot in 16mm film and was in a square shape on the screen, if you waited 'til after the credits you could ask the director questions and meet him (i just listened).... it rocked.
- on 420 i smoked with aziz and danny, then later hung out with lindsey and alex.
social life/friends - much of my time lately has been spent with lindsey, josh, and marty. i've been sorta helping them move in and out of residences and basically drive them around from place to place. i hung out with jake the night before he was supposed to leave for china, he ended up going back a day late due to plane complications... he's bringing me back an orange coach purse and a crap load of cds. i had a long, in depth, conversation with jp for about a total of 2 1/2 hours or so... first time we hung out in three years and we talked as if we had just seen eachother the day before/like really good friends. joe bleached my dad's basement for me, we were supposed to do it together, but he wouldn't let me do it.
uhh... yep.
i have to put a portfolio together for my public relations class, i have three of the four assignments done and typed, but only two are printed cuz one is at school.... i have to finish writing/laying out the last assignment then type and print. hopefully my shower later will be like a wake up call, cuz i have to meet my dad and lil' bro at mcdonald's at 7:30 for breakfast.... dedo's starting to bitch about the time now, dammit.
