(no subject)
Hi everybody!
Yesterday I went over to Lance's house around 2. Seeing as I woke up at 1. We went to Ruby's and was going to see Memoirs of a Geisha at around 6ish..but all the shows were sold out until 10:25. So we bought tickets for that show, went to the store, and I read a magazine while Lance tinkered with his trains. Shawn came over for about 5 minutes, left when his gf got there, Lance continued to build his stuff and I even helped ^_^ Then we went to the movie. I decided to stop being a negative nancy and take it for what it was worth. And I loved it. It was like a visual orgasm. It was seriously one of the most visually beautiful movies I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. The movie ended at 1AM. Lance and I went back to his house and I stayed there..cause I'm an adult and I can do that. And Jim and Ewwnice are in Las Vegas so thats another plus. My dad wasn't too happy about me staying at a boys house all night, he hasnt quite grasped the concept of me growing up..I think if it were up to him I'd still be a little baby sitting on his back in the little baby carrier while he works in the yard. All the same..We went to sleep at 3am and woke up at 11. So..I'm exhausted..but I'm going to go to Emily's thing tonight with her and Lesley. I'm sorry if I end up passing out..>_> I truly am...but if I get scared enough that means I'll never sleep. YAY. Anyway..Then Lance made a sandwich and we watched true like: I'm OCD and True Life: I'm morbidly obese..I hadn't had anything to eat up until now..but that second show didnt really make me want to..go scarf something down. I think I might make a waffle in my mom's new waffle iron if we don't have anything good.
I really like this Calexico/Iron and Wine CD...But it doesnt seem the same as the other Iron and Wine CDs..Well..I mean..it probably has something to do with Calexico being in the mix..but instead of Southern Bluegrassy it sounds more Country westerny..They have that weird..twangy thing..I forgot what it's called...but its in like every country song..but they still have the banjo..God I love banjos. O_o
Anyway..I guess I'll go try and find some food. No one is here..Oh..my parents got a LCD flat screen TV..it's fucking huge. I wasn't expecting it to be that big.
