Randomness
Max is almost 6 months old. Holy cow. My baby is half a year old. Every time I look at him I still can't believe I made that. LOL. It's such a crazy feeling. July is working out to be a good month, lots to do to keep us busy. Baby shower tomorrow night, then Tuesday Max has his first swimming "lesson" and then Wednesday is baby group and I can get him weighed again (my estimate is 22lbs-ish) and Thursday is swimming again and then a bridal shower. Nothing Friday, but I'm sure I'll come up with something to do, and Saturday I have a bachelorette toga party! Tee hee. I'm glad to be so busy, because it helps to keep my mind off of the waiting to be called for a job. Which is pure torture. Ralph and I are also looking for a new place to live, if we end up staying here come September, somewhere less old and drafty would be super.
Next week Max has his 6 month check up, and then we are heading to St. John's on the 18th for his first "vacation" and I have a bunch of fun stuff planned for that, not to mention seeing the new Harry Potter movie and the book release on my birthday. We're taking Max to the children's activities on Friday night (if he'll stay awake for it), his grammy is making him a little Hogwart's robe and I've ordered a Gryffindor patch off eBay to iron on to it. Fangirl much? Yes I think so. We're also going to take him to see his first movie, Ratouille, or however that is spelled, so that should be fun at well.
We're coming back out on the 21st, which is my 25th birthday, so I'm having a little birthday supper here for that, and then planning to go to a friend's wedding. Did I mention I love July? So much fun.
The following week, the festival starts here, we're taking Max in the parade, and I can't talk about his float right now, because I don't want to ruin the surprise of the uber cuteness, I will post pictures when it is done. The 27th we are having our big anniversary bash since or 1st anniversary is the following Sunday on the 29th. Whew. Then July is over and August is for relaxing and enjoying the nice weather and spending as much time with Max as I can before September and work starts up.
Anywho, I will leave you all with some Maximus goodness, you know you love it.
