Photography. People laugh in the photos. Play, flirt. Are these people like this in real life? You capture a single moment in time. A snapshot. It freezes and you look. But what happens when that snapshot is over? It’s all a big fat lie, and everyone loves a lie. It’s distorted. It’s idiotic. Someone telling you to betray an emotion that you don’t even feel, and people assume that’s how you feel. A child takes a picture with the father that beats her. Does the child really want to put an arm around her dad and smile and say everything is okay? I’m guessing no. Don’t we all wish that’s how life was. When you take a depressing picture, people call you emo. Then life is emo. Not everything is rainbows and butterflies, it’s reality. Nobody can deal with the girl who has issues, the father who doesn’t want to hear the truth, the girlfriend who doesn’t want to hear she’s getting fat, we all love fakeness. Take off your masks, and see what lies within, then you will see beyond the photography.
