okay so i just re-read HP & the goblet of fire seeing as the movie comes out in THREE DAYS and i've figured out some things

you know how snape 'kills' dumbledore

what dumbledore tells snape in the end of GOF.

"I am," said Snape.
He looked slightly paler than usual, and his cold, black eyes glittered strangely.

well it actually tells us nothing
but it does hint at the fact that
maybe dumbledore isn't dead afterall
