Well, I think I'll stop playing my PS2 for a bit and write an entry!
I wonder what happened since my last post. O ya, I posted about the BIRDS AND THE BEES talk with my parents...well, that never happened fortunately. They did find those wrappers in my pockets tho, so I was pwnt. I'd write more about that, but this is a public log and the authorities could be reading it ;O! They're sneaksy like that. I told my parents I wouldn't do it again til her bday, which is in a month..:(
Sooooooo since my last post I haven't really done much :D
At the end of last semester I couldn't really be bothered going to skewl much, so I skipped off and went to the library instead. I read some cool books there. I'd spend like an hour reading a book, then put it down and find another. There's a comedy (can you call it comedy if it's literature?) book called "Don't Mention The War" which I'd read every time I was in there, about these guys touring Europe and stuff. V funny! I'd read about philosophy, psychology, and I even picked up a physics one :X! I'm still not sure if I was allowed to, but I'd just grab a book and sit down :D I don't have a library card or anythin. No-one said anything, so it was ALL GOOD! I'd do that for a few hours a day and then come home, and play CS or whatever. I have finals in a few weeks so I'll need to study a lil bit for them. First one is a programming exam, v easy, judging by the past papers.
OH, my sister is almost ready to give BIRTH!!!!!! She was due last THURSDAY! She still hasn't really decided on a name. She was thinking of Megan for the longest time, but she's not too sure now. She said she'd wait a week after she had her baby so that she can see what name she "looks like" xD I don't really mind as long as it's not Lucy. My cat is called Lucy.
Things have been pretty traumatic on the cocalovelife front lately. I'm sick of writing this, haha. But, for those that don't know, I found out my GF still had feelings for her ex-bf and she was seeing him behind my back!>!>!> ZOMG! She saw him, uh, a good few times, and they'd talk online secretly ^^. I happened to stumble upon their chatlog which spanned 6 months and that's how I found out I was being played all that time >D Well now ya know. I kinda dumped her for a week while I was thinking about what to do. I decided to try and forget all about it and she asked me out and I accepted. So, it's like 2 relationships with the same girl. I just need to forget all about the first. It's a pity, because I was looking forward so much to being with her for six months (since she was with her ex-bf for six months before she "dumped" him), but it doesn't rly count for anything since it wasn't..genuine! Well anyway, we're on a fresh start. The problem now of course is trust. Paranoia drives me nuts. I can't really believe anything TBQH, which is a real pain in the ass :(. If she says she's going somewhere to do something, I question it, and just assume she's going behind my back to do something else. It'd be OK if I could remind myself that she wouldn't do that, but...erf. That's no solace.
One sec, I need to finish this race on Burnout 2. I have a car to unlock!!!
Ok, I won :D The rally car is mine! Where was I? O yea, I'm trying hard to trust my GF right now but I keep reminding myself of how I could be being screwed over, which is entirely feasible. Things like when she leaves to set up someones computer for 4 hrs. All I think about while she's gone is how she's probably NOT setting up someone's computer for that length of time, so I'm all worried the whole day. And, I'd never know the truth! BAH! All I'm doing now is keeping these thoughts to myself in hopes that they go away and things will be back to normal. Well...the way I thought they were, lol.
Despite all this bs going on in my head, we still manage to have a really fun time together! I went round to her house last night for an hour or so and it was sooooo good :D I left feeling amazing :) It was fantastic, rly. I don't think about things so much when I see her. I'm concentrating on the current moment, not busy thinking up scenarios in my head. But then I come home and I realize that yeah, I could still be being screwed over just like before, cuz I wasn't aware of anything before either. But, seeing her is still fun, which is great.
OH I GUESS I SHOULD RECORD SOME ACTUAL EVENTS NOW.
Xmas day:
So I woke up at like...8.30 on xmas morn. No snow, but very very cold. I lay in bed just chilling, listening to music and stuff, until like midday. Then I had to get up cuz we were going out to lunch. My parents booked us at this fancy restaurant where they served FIVE COURSES for lunch. FIVE! I looked at the menu we had printed out at home and I didn't like anything on it, haha. My sister was there too, but she was going to my gran's house for Christmas dinner. I wanted to do that so so badly, dinners there are amazing. So, I asked my mother if my sister and I could trade places. My sis didn't rly wanna go to my grans, and I didnt rly wanna go to the restaurant, so my mother said YES :D My sis ran upstairs as fast as possible to get ready in 5 minutes. She got ready in 5 minutes too haha, and she looked fine. We all hopped into the car and headed off to my gran's house. I got there and did the whole hugging + kiss on the cheek thing. I hate kissing my relatives on the cheek, urghhhhhh. She looked kinda flustered so I asked what I could do to help. I put stuff on the table, got the drinks in from the shed-thing, and put fewd out. I opened my presents after that and she gave me 50 pounds + some aftershave! Pretty neat. Going to buy some games I think. My aunt + uncle came in after dat and they had brought my gran a freeview box as a gift. A freeview box is where you can get signals that are on satellite tv for free, and via the aerial on top of your house. Tbh, freeview sucks cuz there's nothing decent on. My uncle brought the box thru, I assumed he wanted me to help him set it up. He gave me the box and I had a look at it. THEN HE LEFT THE ROOM. FACKER!!!!!!! So, it was left 2me to set up this thing. I did it in 5 minutes actually. Well 10 minutes, I forgot to plug in the aerial first time. We need an extra cable, the VCR needs an aerial signal too, and rite now only the freeview box can have the signal, weep. She now has like 30 channels instead of 5. I don't think she'll watch any other channels apart from the 5 she had before tho :D Oh well, all good fun. My gran isn't too good with technology, she was whining about having 4 remote controls, hehe ^_^
Soooo I set it up and then we had DINNAR. An hour before we started having dinner, my gran realized she forgot to put the lettuce in her prawn cocktails. My uncle had to go round the table with a bowl. He scooped out the prawn cocktail, put in the lettuce, and scooped the prawn cocktail back in^^ Then I had to go around and sprinkle paprika on all of the prawn cocktails >:(! We all sat down 2 eat. To start I had...uh, soup. It owned. Thennnn I had turkey, of course. By this time my cousin and her BF had arrived, and her bf is hilarious :D He really doesn't hold back on his humor, no matter how rude it is. Sometime's he's too rude tho, and I'm just like wtf. Ok, after TURKEY I had TRIFLE! My gran makes trifle every year and no-one eats it, so I said to her earlier I would have a spoonful. O how I hate trifle :( Turns out there was freaking SHERRY in it. I never knew! Oh well, I didn't even notice.
My family arrived in from the restaurant later and we all went thru to the front room to watch TV. My dad went home to get a DVD game to play, and he brought this crappy music quiz. I don't know anything about music, surprisingly. We had to guess the musician and shiz, and I had no clue, so it wasn't too fun >:O I had fun eating the snacks on the table tho :D!
We finished up playing the crappy game and then we all went home. I played Burnout 2 for a bit ofc, and I was STILL EATING! Went to bed about 2am.
Boxing Day (YESTERDAY):
Yesterday was pretty much the same as Christmas day! I got up at the same time, chilled for a while in bed, then hopped out into the bath to get ready to go out. We went down to my gran's house again for dinner. I saw Carrie for an hour in evening and it made me very happy to see her. Didn't wanna leave at all! :( But, I had to. I headed back to my gran's after Carrie's and we were playing the DVD game version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. I suck with general knowledge too, if only it asked a question that Trivers would ask! :( I managed to pwn another person tho by telling her the wrong answer, so they were OUT :D! They got 1000 pounds so I didn't feel too bad ;D It's always nice to see my dad lose too, cuz he's always full of himself :] In the end my GRAN and my BROTHER won!!! THEY SUCK!?!?! Dunno how they did it. I was starving, so I ate a prawn cocktail which was left over from earlier. I don't even like prawn cocktails. My dad had been drinking I think, so I was left to drive everyone home. I hate driving with parents, I can never really break the limit. I got home and I played some more Burnout 2 :D I swear I'm addicted. The gfx are amazing for 2002.
That's pretty much all! The next major event is NEW YEAR!:D:D:D:DD:D:D
Carrie is apparently watching the Exorcist now :( I hope she doesn't make me watch it any time. I hate IT!!
