So I got the demo back in the mail, and as Dan Meyer would say, "uhhhhhh....."
This is not a dig at Jim Chorman whatsoever; but I must have had a lot more wine than I thought I did that day in September. The performances are really self-conscious - I don't solo at all, my voice is in this weird affected croon half the time. The idea was to record the thing live in Jim Scheall's living room; I see now that this was a bad idea. The worst part is that I clearly have no idea what's going on with a few of these songs, like "Failed Musician Rag" and "The Tornado Song," so any complaints I have about the sound quality must come second to yours truly.
Anyway, anyone who wants to hear it should let me know and they will, but please bear in mind that in my opinion this is really unrelease-able, and does not show off my best side.
