I Am Brilliant

I'm not sure if this community is just closed, or if you're waiting for new members, or what, but if your still accepting, here we go

The Basics
Name: Meredith

Birth date: May 30, 1990 (I may be the youngest person on here...)

Location: Kentucky

Gender: Female

Orientation: Straight

Relationship Status: Single and lovin' it.

Your Life
Do you go to school?: Yepper Doodles...Scott High School class of 2008

What do you want as your future profession?: My dream job is actress, but as I couldn't act my way out of a wet paper bag, my realistic and other dream job is lawyer.

What are your hobbies?: reading, writing (mainly Harry Potter fanfiction and personal poetry), singing (in the shower, of course), flute (when I can get ahold of one), volleyball, academic team, Science Olympiads, French Club, Drama Club, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), acting, needlepoint, latch-hook, crosstitch, anything to do with music, watching 80's movies, colored pencil drawings, pen and ink drawings, watercolor drawings, acrilic drawings, anything to do with Shakespeare, Harry Potter RPG

Do you have a job?: I babysit the kids that live across the street from me and my next door neighbors, and I'm hoping to soon be employed at a local Borders, as soon as they open to the public.

What are your goals for the future?: I hope to get accepted to Transylvania, UK, Xavier, or Lewis college, get into law school (preferably at Oxford, but I'm not too picky...we have a great law school about 15 minutes from where I currently live), become a successful lawyer, maybe do some undergrad work at the local courthouse (that's what my sister is doing), Possibly married (but if the right person doesn't come along, it's not a big thing...just not meant to be), maybe have a date to my senior prom (but I won't push it).

Any notable achievements?: Making my Confirmation, doing the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5 mile walk, doing the March for Life twice (a 10 block march from the Washington Memorial to the capital building for all the pro-life organizations), Surviving ICHTHUS 2004 (if you have to ask, you'll probably never quite get the concept...it's one of those things where you just had to be there).

Your Top 5
Your five favorite bands: At the moment? The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Lynard Skynard, The Cyrcle, and the Ramones (but ask me tomorrow and they'll probably be completely different)

Your five favorite cds: Beatles 1, Ramonemania, Greatest Hits of Lynard Skynard, Dark Side of the Moon, Never Mind the Bullocks: Here's the Sex Pistols

Your five favorite movies: Harry Potter (I can't pick any of them out), Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Brat Pack (pick one and I love it), Monty Python (see previous), Elizabethtown (because they teach people the correct way to say "Louiville," and it's about my home state)

Your five favorite authors: J.K. Rowling, Jenny Nimmo, Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child, William Shakespeare

Your five favorite books: Harry Potter, Charlie Bone, Letters from God to Teens, Still Life With Crows, How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found

Your five favorite websites (please provide links): www.mugglenet.com, www.ebaumsworld.com, www.yahoo.com (I like the photo albums they offer, and the games), www.livejournal.com, www.checkmated.com

Your five favorite places: My computer room, my uncle's house (has ghosts that are actually related to me), anywhere my twin happens to be, volleyball practice, art class

Your five favorite foods: Pizza (even though I can't eat it), dark chocolate, my mother's chili, Sam's Club Rotisserie Chicken, Ham and Cheese (American) on white with extra, extra, extra mayonaise.

Your five favorite animals: DUCKS!, Hippos, Wolves, siblings, penguin

Your five favorite games: Yahtzee, Euchre, Rack-o, Playstation 2 Quidditch, Playstation 2 Jeopardy

Do You
Plan ahead or live for the moment?: Depends on what it is. Usually live for the moment though.

Make friends easily?: Pretty darn. I usually meet people at the same time my sister does. If she doesn't like someone, I pretty much know I won't like them either. That and the fact that I'm like my late grandmother...I turn around in line and just talk to random people

Cherish your family?: I learned to the hard way...about a month ago, I was talking on the phone to who I thought was my uncle, and then found out that he had died about 15 minutes before the phone call took place, and it was actually his son calling from jail...And I have an identical twin. We're best friends. I can't not cherrish family.

Feel that brains are more important that beauty?: Of course. What's beauty if you can't figure out simple things?

Judge someone by their musical taste?: No, or I would seriously have no friends.

Take risks?: How big does it have to be to be considered a risk? I don't think I take many...my sister may have a different opinion of this.

Allow yourself to be creative?: I have teachers that force me to be. It actually says on my report card that I am gifted in "creativity." Please explain to me how someone can judge that?

Open up easily?: Only to my sister. I keep everyone else at a bit of a distance until I know them really well.

Have any true passions?: music. I can teach myself almost any instrument if I have a book and an hour.

Believe in one true love?: I'm not sure. I guess I can only answer that if I ever meet him.

Miscellaneous
Make us laugh with a joke, story, or picture: Okay, my first curse word. I've been cursin' like a sailor since I was two. My mom bought an ant farm, and in order put the ants into the farm, you have to stun them by refrigerating them. Evidently, they weren't in the fridge long enough, because they come in this tube, and when my mom squeezed it to get the ants out, they started going everywhere: the kitchen table, the floor, you name it, they were there. So my older sister and my cousing start trying to kill them all and catch some of them. I lean over the floor (and remember, I'm only two at the time), and scream "Sh!t, Mom! There's one right here!"

Sorry...my humorous side is more sarcastic remarks than jokes....

Tell us a little-known fact about you: I can clap with one hand. No, seriously, I can bang my fingers against the bottom of my hand and clap.

What makes you different?: I'm different, because I'm the same. Does that make sense? I look like someone else, yet I'm her complete opposite. Oh, and I answer to other people's names more than my own. I have seriously called myself my sister's name.

What is your weakness?: Dark chocolate, or there's this really good French cheese called "allouette" that tastes really good on baguette.

Brilliant Beauty
Flatter the Mods: You guys are great. Seriously. Like, amazing.

Prettiest Member: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Smartest Member: Don't know any of them personally, and even if I did, you're all probably smart in a different area.

What makes someone "brilliant"?: being able to make a mistake and admit it, then learn from it and continue on with life.

What makes someone "beautiful"?: Having a great personality. For example, I have two girls in my class who are both incredibly talented. One of them actually quit school so she could move to Nashville and pursue a music career. But the difference between them is that the one I consider beautiful is the one that didn't quit school, doesn't treat people like she's better than them, doesn't constantly talk about herself but is genuinely interested in you and could talk to you about something all day, and when she's famous (because there's no doubt in my mind that one day she will be famous), I'm going to look at her and tell my kids, "I grew up with her. She was a great person." the other, if I saw on TV, I would either say "that girl was a total b!tch when I knew her" or just deny that I had ever come in contact with her, because she just plain rude to me and my friends.

Why do you want to join?: I just think it seems like a friendly community, and I saw that no one had posted for a while and was wondering why that was.

Vanity
Post at least 3 pictures of yourself with at least 1 clear shot of your face and one clear shot of your body.

I'm the cripple in the middle. On the left is one of my best friends, Laura, and on the right is obviously my sister, Courtney.

My freshman yearbook picture.

Me on a bus on the way to Washington DC. You can see that the heat wasn't working by noticing the ice on the window behind me.

Me before a farewell dance for eighth graders. I'm the dork on the right that's wearing a sports watch with a dress.

Post a 100x100 picture of yourself

I hate that picture, but o well.

Let it be made known, the ones that I'm not wearing glasses are porbably the most recent (with the exception of the bus picture) because I got contacts so I could play in a volleyball game without breaking my glasses.
