Hello Alexis,

No, I won't drop you from the class, but, frankly, you have
to do better. I haven't seen a completed journal from you
yet, nor homework, and you were absent on the first of three
workshops. In the past, students who show these kinds of
problems at the start don't pass the course. Two more
absences through out the rest of the semester or one more
absence on the first day of a workshop means you don't pass
the class.
