(no subject)
So at around 8:00 pm eastern standard time, in the Cabrera house, there was a family meeting going on. My dad made me, my mom & brother sit down, and had a "chat" with us. He got the job as a fire marshall in North Carolina and decided to take it, and wanted my input on it. When he asked me what i thought, I told him that I have one year left here in high school and that it'd be dumb for me to leave, but that I could stay with aunt for the remainder of high school while they went, and I could visit them and vice versa. But nooooooo. He wasn't having that. He decided he wanted to be a dickmunch and pull that whole guilty charade crap on me.
He started to tell me that I'm selfish for wanting to stay, that I should think about what a wonderful opportunity for him this is. Well what the fuck? I have ONE year left in high school. I'm not about to move to some godforsaken town and attempt to make new friends with people who have had their friendships cemented since they fucking started wearing pull ups, and make an asshole out of myself. I have a chance to get a fucking 100% bright futures scholarship and hopefully go to UF, and my parents wanna take that away from me after all my hard work? Fuck that. Who's the one being really selfish here? They could fucking wait ONE more year for me to graduate until they move. They've waited seventeen, one more certainly won't kill them.
So now they're thinking about leaving me behind to fend for myself and live with my aunt. Now I love my aunt, but seriously what kind of fucking parents do that? God. Whatever.
