(no subject)
i'm really glad this past week happened the way it did.
saturday we left for traverse and i drove up with victor. that made the drive not bad at all. and even though he was there for a short 3 days, i had a lot of fun introducing him to my relatives from california, my relatives here for that matter, and i love that everyone liked him a lot. we went parasailing on sunday and it was so sweet. we have pictures but they're yet to be developed. the sibula family also showed up for the air show which was sweet.
after he left we had the huge 40-person family dinner at boone's, the reunion picnic on the fourth, the whole fireworks deal, cherry festival shit going on, and just good ol' family times every night. i love them, they're really so sweet and hilarious.
wednesday afternoon megan picked me up and we drove back to mackinac. it was cool, we went to cheboygan every day, sunbathed at the pier, went boating with travis, hung out with joe (for a short but sweet time) and saw mark and zac and yadda yadda. we left friday at about 6 and went straight to jim's house (aka perfect party house). it was his 21st and we were all hanging out and had good times of course. i always have fun with those boys. we all know megan and pat will end up fighting but hey, it's just how it goes :) i wish i hung out with them more, it's just so far away. i'll just have to hit jim up to buy for me now.
i have a good collection of pictures but unfortunately i broke the digital camera and had to rely on disposables. so maybe when i get a scanner...? victor also has some sweet shots, i bought him a digital camera before we left. that should prove to be a laugh riot
