Convergence is tomorrow. I'm not quite ready.
Also, that tooth I had a root canal on? Well, the dentist couldn't finish it so he referred me to another clinic. That clinic is outside my insurance network so I would have to pay in full, so I didn't go. And the tooth was feeling fine so I didn't do anything. Then the tooth started hurting enough to wake me up at night.
So I went in and I have a bad infection that's spreading from the tooth and into my throat. So, I'm on antibiotics and they're going to get a health partners doctor to finish it.
Also, my wisdom teeth are killing me. I have that consultation on Tuesday. Until them, I'm on vicodin. Fun.
Anyway, so, CON!
Remember, I will need $65 from each of you when you come up to the room unless we've worked out some other arrangement. Check in is, as it stands, at 3:00pm on Thursday. That may end up being earlier, but we will definitely have the room by then. You can come up, get your key from me and be all set.
DO NOT FORGET: Pack clothing for lots of heat, lots of cold, sunshine, rain, and any particular activities you'll be doing (like dancing or swimming). Also remember to pack painkillers. I would also recommend bringing a notebook or drawing pad and some pens or pencils - they've always been useful to me. And, perhaps most importantly, pack a camera, even if it's just a cheap disposable one. You will want pictures this year.
Don't forget your ID, too. Can't get a badge without it.

There's the programming guide. I recommend peeking at it ahead of time to get a feel for what hours you'll wanna do convention stuff.
I'm running a panel at 9:30am on Friday, called Growing Up Geek. I would like all of my friends to attend if you have the time. :) Also, Cait has a performance at 10:30pm on Saturday in Harmonic Convergence - I highly, highly recommend it. And, lastly (aside from the party, which I've told all of you about enough), there is an awesome concert on Thursday night at 10. The band is Savage Aural Hotbed, they'll be performing at Mainstage, and it will be amazingly awesome.
