(no subject)
Turns out I'm allergic to codeine. It was a minor reaction, just a lot of itching and bumps (not hives - the bumps were so small I couldn't see them, just feel them).
It was minor enough that my doctor felt safe giving me another opiate, so I'm on Vicodin.
Also, my doctor... is really liberal with medications. He initially gave me 30 tablets of Tylenol 3. Now, 'just to get me through the night', he gave me 20 Vicodin tablets.
Still itchy but no bumps, and apparently opiates can just be itchy sometimes. Trying to control it with Benadryl.
