(no subject)
I'm looking for suggestions for an easy cosplay of a girl with long-ish dark-ish purple hair. o_o; Any ideas at all?
I am having way more trouble with this Nemu costume than is reasonable. It's just a friggen robe! And yet I find it impossible. I think it's because I generally feel that I can't sew and so I'm really discouraged and am almost sabotaging myself. I don't know, but I'm majorly stressing about it. I wish someone could do it for me but I know that isn't really an option. And I need to go buy more fabric and make another layer because the black isn't quite thick enough, which I thought it would be, so the white sticks out. Maybe I could just stitch like... a white border on instead of making an entirely separate layer? It would have the same visual effect, I think... I dunno. I'm also worried about making the obi. And the insignia. and... everything in my life is wrong right now. Or it seems that way.
My wig came. I have to style it - not hard, it just needs a braid. The bangs are already good. Also
I wish there was a giant index of characters that you could sort by all sorts of ridiculous things like hair color, age, height, etc. That would be so awesome. I would start one if my fandom knowledge wasn't so limited.
Jo, do you still have that Sailor Mars costume? Was it really poorly made? (I vaguely remember something about it being unwearable for some reason but don't remember why.)
