I've called Cornell, Harvard, Columbia, Princeton and RISD to ask them about what I should do to prepare for grad school: first professional masters degree in architecture. I have a list of what I need to work on based on my own research and what they told me:
-strong portfolio (conceptual thoughts, narrative translated into figures) make it a composition
-experience in 3 dimensional arts (sculpture, jewelry, metallurgy, graphics, etc.)
-drawing
-strong academic portfolio (work ethic)
-personal statement
-recommendation letters
-GRE - verbal > 500
-problem solving avarice
-thinking in 3 dimensions
etc.
I think that I am on my way to becoming the best architect in the world. Don't underestimate my words; I will be the next le corbusier.
please wait until i finish school.
