in my writing class we read out speeches we wrote yesterday. and one girls was about how she failed drug tests so she couldn't get a job. but like the universal theme was how people shouldn't conform to social standards and how to rebel against conformity by smoking weed. everyone else's speech was about how to be cool in junior high. josiah's was about a personal overnight revolution when he discovered happiness outside of material goods. which is pretty spiritual
