Dood. Stadium Arcadium Rocks. its definitely the most mellow CD from them I've listened to, but Definitely in a good way. Its got the Classic RHCP Punk Funk Feel, but its overdosed the funk, and smoothed out the Punk. But far be it from me to say they got RID of the Punk, no way. its not straight out funk (that I had feared) Its just such a PERFECT blend of the two, most of the songs at least, that the songs flow smoothly and sweetly. You can just sit around and do nothing while listening to it. Just like the other RHCP CDs. Only better ^_^
Some songs Definitely tip over the Punk pop-ish feel, some tip the Funk, but in either case, whether its a slowmoving nearly soul moving tune, or a krazy Hard rockin one (Which I dont think there are many hard rockin ones- they're just krazy) They all fit the mood you can TELL was made for the song, even if it feels jagged. I havent really listened to a lot of the songs yet, but from what I've heard thus far, Im loving it. Easily one of my most favorite albums ever.
