there has been extensive theorizing about the destruction of place previously. what can I say? sometimes reading feels like dissolving. I have to get up and walk for an hour every hundred pages just to shake the feeling of being sugar in water. Walking in the city is easier, and I'll be back there soon. To walk past thousands of people knowing that there's absolutely no possibility of being recognized is, well, it would be easy to say it was either good or bad but the truth is it's like being a ghost in the bush, a grain of sugar among ants, a hundred year old kid, a midget standing on a chair, God's olive pit, trying to sing with a mouth full of sand.
