The Curious Case was a good movie. By now this has all floated around previously. You know this. I know you know this. But it should be brought to one's attention how much the movie seems to rely on The Tin Drum. Yes, yes. The best parts all belong to Oskar and his devotees. Every time you take a breath or feel guilty, see a good film or a bad one, every time you read a good book or write something worth reading-- this too, is Oskarism. You knew this before but were not able to explain it. Now you know. Embalm yourselves and displace thinking accordingly. Where did that gnome put my kool-aid?
