A recap of my weekend.
Physics day was actually a lot of fun. Maybe it was fun, though, because we didn't do any of the experiments. Haha. I rode my first roller coaster, which probably sounds really lame to you. Kim, Christi, and I rode Vortex for my first ride, then we went on Demon with Van and Thomas, her uber cute cousin. But um yeah.. Nothing really except it was really hot and that Boomerang Bay wasn't even open yet, so we had to wait in line for an hour to ride Roaring Rapids. Gahh. There were some kids there from NEVADA, which was really weird to me. Do they have nothing better to do than to hop on a bus and drive to Santa Clara? Wow. I didn't think Great America was that good..
Anyways, that night I went out to sushi dinner with Michael and Andy to celebrate my birthday the weekend before. Andy was okay in the beginning and we were all chatting, then he got really quiet and had to excuse himself. I think at that point we were talking about prom. He came back ages later, and while he was gone Michael and I were talking about Olivia and how I really didn't want Andy in our group if he had to watch Olivia throw herself all over Louis. When Andrew came back Michael and I tried to keep up a conversation, but when Michael told Andrew to contribute something, all he said was, "Shoe," which kind of pissed me off because I knew he was only being moody because of Olivia, and he didn't deserve this.
This is completely different from sophomore year where I hated Andrew because he was making Olivia suffer. I really just wish Andrew could move on, but even though he keeps saying that he wants to, he's doing everything wrong. I mean, I guess it isn't all his fault, since Olivia's been calling him every night on the phone and then ignoring him in front of people. She's messing with him, and he's too weak. It pisses me off.
At one point, Andrew got up and left. Without a word. He stood up, grabbed his phone, and walked out the door. I was literally shocked. I just sat there looking at the door for a couple of seconds when I turned back to Michael and asked if Andrew had left, as in gone home. "I drove him here, so he can't get very far." I asked Michael if it would make it worse of I went after Andrew, but he said that it'd make it better, so I left the restaurant and went outside into the parking lot. No Andy. I got my phone out and started calling him over and over again while walking up and down the aisles of cars. Still no Andy. It wasn't until the tenth time I called him that he picked up and tried to sound all happy, saying that he was walking home. I told him to come back and that Michael or I would drive him home, but he kept insisting that he wanted to walk home. I was getting so frustrated with him that I started crying so I hung up on him mid-sentence and went back inside. All I said to Michael before not being able to talk anymore was, "Go get him. He's walking home."
I guess Michael was expecting something like this, because he called RJ and all he had to say was, "I need you now. He's walking home." RJ knew exactly what he was talking about. So Michael walked me to my car trying to reassure me that everything would be okay before leaving and trying to find Andy. I drove out of the parking lot after controlling the tears for a bit before I found myself sobbing and driving 70 on Blossom Hill. I pulled over in a parking lot and called Rheshell. I was on the phone with her for a good half hour just crying to her before we got to the part where she told me it would all be okay. RJ called her on the other line, so she promised to call me back after she found out what happened. Right when Rheshell hung up, Michael called me and told me that they had found him but that they couldn't get him in the car and that they just let him walk home.
So I sat there for a while to compose myself and managed to drive home without breaking the speed limit too badly. I found it funny that even though I was speeding, I was still using my turn signals like a good driver should. It made me laugh at how desperate my brain was for something else to think about.
When I got home, RJ called me and tried to calm me down, because by the time I had to make up some stupid excuse for my mom for being late and by the time I got upstairs, I was crying again. Rheshell called seconds after him and told me what Michael had told me. Basically..that was the end of the drama with them. My mom came in and tried to be nosy, but I was angry enough that I just shut down and she gave up and left me to sleep.
Okay, so the prom portion of this may be short, because I just want to get out what I'm thinking about the Andrew thing. Prom was typical, duh. Went to Chi's house (Cheese house) and Santa Clara University to take pictures. Went to Starbucks with the group to get drinks and use the restroom (do you know how freaking big SCU is..and how hard it is to find a bathroom?!) before heading to prom.
Before prom, at SCU, Andrew kept asking if he could talk to be privately, but I kept brushing him off. I knew that he said something the wrong way that I'd probably end up screaming at him or hitting him, and either move would've trashed the prom atmosphere. When he approached me with Michael, I figured I'd be able to keep my calm and we went off in a corner to talk. Andrew pulled out a tray of something covered in foil, and started apologizing for the night before, saying how he was just really stressed with stuff and Olivia and how he didn't mean to take it out on me and yadda yadda. I make it sound lame here, but I seriously felt myself forgiving him while he was talking. Michael just kind of stood there to referee the event, I guess. At one point, Andy spread his feet apart and offered me a free shot at kicking him, which I declined because I was already laughing. Michael said something along the lines of, "Dude, I saw how you made her feel, I'm about ready to kick you right now." Hahah.
After that.. I think we were cool. Andy finally told me he was going to ask me to prom, which I already knew about, but he also told me how, which I didn't know. He had stayed up the night before writing a bunch of post-its to stick on my car and had two of my favorite teachers involved to stall me. He said he was mad when he found out in sixth that Hong had "just asked," and that Hong hadn't done anything for me..
As previously stated, prom was typical. For some reason the DJ keep calling out, "Where all my Latinos at?!" We Asians were like, "Wtf, we're here, too." Haha. Anyways, our guest act was Poker Face Protest with Albert and the group, so that was pretty amazing, especially since they are all OG graduates.
After prom, Hong and I went to Static for like..half an hour because we got lost. Haha. Michael actually showed up when it was over, so that sucks for him. I saw Qui and Ariel(?) there, and that was pretty funny. I felt soo awkward because my sister had brought clothes for me to change, and her jeans were way too big they kept slipping down way too low. Anyways, parted ways and Hong, Michael and I headed back to San Jose to get some breakfast. It was actually really fun, even with just the three of us. Hong was about to fall asleep at one point, and Michael was kind of dellusional, but it was fun. Haha. Here's a fuzzy account of one of the conversations:
V: Amanda and Erica were hella hitting it off, like they were laughing the entire time!
Michael: Yeah, like they were really fun to hang out with.
V: They've both got really good personalities, like it's easy to make friends with them.
M: Kind of like you.
V: (laughs) Yeah, sure.
M: [Insert some comment that ties that to my having a boyfriend.]
V: What boyfriend?
M: You don't have a boyfriend?
V: Nope.
M: Why not?
V: Because.. Guys are confusing. And stupid.
M: What's so confusing about guys? Who's got you confused? Is it Tristan?
V: Eww no.
M: Hong?
V: No.
M: Andy?
V: Stop asking! You're going to make me sound stupid.
M: So it is Andy!
Shit, right? Gah. Anyways, we called some people and found out the party at Dung's was still open, so we headed over there and were greeted with people drunk off of "jungle juice" and high off of ecstasy. Our original plan was to draw on the sleeping drunks and take pictures, but none of them were sleeping, which kind of sucked. Haha. Anyways, Hong, RJ, Andy, Michael, David, and I were sitting around talking for like an hour before Andy and David had to drive some other people home and the rest of us decided to head home. Hong and RJ followed me and Hong because Hong was kind of sleepy, so Hong drove me to Chi's house around five and Chi, Tina, and I stayed up for a bit talking before Chi passed out. I took a picture of her, went to look at the picture, and looked up to see that Tina had fallen asleep, too. What the heck, right? Haha. Well, I had to go to sleep then, so that's the end of that.
Well, since I was sworn to secrecy by my girls, I can only tell you my confessions. Haha. Well, earlier last last week or something, I had asked Christi if she had ever been mad at Kim for dating Kevin (Kim being her best friend, Kevin being her ex) and she said no. She brought it up today after school with the other girls, and I kind of explained everything above. Kim swears that she's getting a vibe from Andrew that he likes me, and that she's known that I've liked him for ages. Which, actually, would be longer than I've known.
Well, they seemed to all agree that Andrew and I would make a good couple because we're both pretty crazy and active people. And, they added, because I wouldn't put up with his shit. Haha. But I don't know... Gah this entire entry ended up about him, and that just makes me angry.
And now.. Well, a few minutes ago, I got thrown off. Michael asked me to the choir concert (Andy's choir concert) and said this on AIM:
V (9:09:56 PM): strawberries!!
M (9:10:16 PM): wow, that's what your hair smelled like on prom
M (9:10:25 PM): what a random comment.......
V (9:10:28 PM): ahaha
V (9:10:29 PM): x]]
M (9:11:46 PM): which reminds me, that was the best birthday present ive had so far.....
I think I'm over analyzing again. Ayana says that he might be inviting me to the concert for Andy, but that birthday comment has me all crazy now. Gahhh.
That might be my longest LJ entry to date. o.o
