Kumbaya, My friends, Kumbaya
Kumbaya, My friends, Kumbaya
Kumbaya, My friends, Kumbaya
Oh yeah, Kumbaya

No more Friday Night
Football games
No more wind and cold
No more rain
No more Cheese bus trips, Kumbaya
Oh yeah, Kumbaya

Tonight was the Band Banquet.
Bittersweet emotions.
I had a good time with Lazurus parents, Nina's, Brittany, Roz, mine and my nephew
Everyone thought he was so adorable
specially when I had him say his ABC's, and every letter was 'dah'
heh heh, Suckers >:D

No more fruit to sell, Kumbaya
We'll have friends at work, Thank you all
Disney trips are done, Kumbaya
Oh yeah, Kumbaya

All the kids were great, made us proud!
L.A.K's the best! Shout it loud
Class of '04 now, kumbaya
Oh yeah, Kumbaya

Analisa and Shayla made Mr. Tucker a video
thats when the tears came
It started off, him reading that letter
he gave us mid year.
With the alma mater playing in the background
Then it had different interviews of people in the band, me and a handful
It showed him conducting, and how great of a time we have.
And how much we love him.
If that wasn't a moment and a half, Mr. Zilka and Mr. Cuffari, pull out a guitar and Accordian.
And Led us in their rendition of Kumbaya.
It was priceless.

I thought it was hard to let the seniors go last year.
Pfft.
Every year they let me get closer to them, the harder it is to say goodbye.
And now, we lose sucha great teacher, and get Mr civic from southview
Its just not the same
Its sad to think I wont be shaking that guys hand my senior year when I get my plaque
And the assistant directors are leaving too.
Its a bit tough
Ive had a Tucker teach me all my life.
Hard to pull away from.

Cause we're one all big happy Family.
And, Im gonna miss that, my family.

Thank you Mrs. Burke, for your time
Mr. Hager too, you're sublime
Mrs. Tucker thanks! Your the bomb
Oh yeah, Such a mom!

Thank you Mr T, Music Man
Band and orchestra, all that Jazz
So to you we toast, Kumbaya
Good luck, Kumbaya..
