Well, let's see...
Captain Flint is no longer with us. We had to put him to sleep on Monday night. Chronic pneumonia, no chance of recovery. He had respiratory problems since we got him. *sigh* That's three pets in three months. It's really hard to see two big empty cages in the basement. I would love to buy two of the baby guinea piggies at work to at least fill one cage. The long-haired charcoal one chirps at me when I pet her. The other is a velour white with brown spots. The charcoal one has a mohawk!!!
The Chinese water dragon's leg is starting to heal up. I should be able to take him home in the next week or two. I'm naming him Pirate cuz he's got a leg that bends the wrong way. I guess he'll always have some level of deformity in that leg, but I don't care. That's why I wanted him in the first place. He's got a crazy leg! Sometimes when I scratch the top of his head he'll sit in my hand with his mouth wide open and his eyes shut. It's really funny.
Wedding plans are starting to come together. We have our florist and photographer decided on. (I won $100 off a floral package plus $250 in extras on top of a package at the bridal expo!) We have our wedding bands. I have my dress and earrings. Brie has her skirt and I'm waiting for my sister's special order to come in. I made the alteration appointments for my dress. We've registered at a few places so far. We're working on Ron's tux plus tuxes for the men in the wedding party. We have the church and reception site. Everything else... well, we're working on them slowly but surely. All this wedding planning keeps me up at night. I seriously wake up and go, "dear god what about the flower arrangements," or, "oh my god I totally forgot to consider lighting for the reception!" And then I'm up making lists and notes for like three hours. fklasjdfla.
