Home sweet home.
Last night Keegan and I went to a tasting for Ye Waverly Inn, the restaurant he is opening with Sean MacPherson and Grayden Carter. We sat at a table with a bunch of people worth millions of dollars who own everything everywhere and had a obnoxiously heated debate over whether or not The Waverly should serve foie gras. While it was entertaining sharing butternut squash soup and truffle french fries with this strange group of people, I couldn't wait to get home to our lovely humble abode in Williamsburg. Our blanket is too small, our shower nobs are hard to turn, our cupboards are a little empty at the moment, but it's home.
