Alright Boys and Girls, Here it is:
Kusadasi and Ephesus, Turkey: The ruins at ephesus were amazing!!!!! It was sooo hot but it was an amazing site to see all the ancient buildings. We also went to the house of the virgin mary, and even though im not catholic it was pretty moving. After that we went shopping and my mom spent literally thousands of dollars on Turkish Carpets, I couldnt believe it. I bought some gifts for people here and i got myself a little bag with a like turkish design. We had lunch at a little restaurant and I got eggplant and meat kabobs and some pita with this weird but realllly good spiced dip.
Day at Sea: I did nothing all day, It was amazing.
Valletta and Mdina, Malta: We went to some really breath-taking cathedrals and took walking tours of each town. The environment was very different then the other countrys, very dry and barren, kind of like a desert. The whole city is surrounded by these ancient walls which are just soo huge. We also went to the Barrakka Gardens where there is an amazing panoramic view of the whole island (it's tiny). It started to rain, so we went back to the ship early.
Messina and Taormina, Sicily: Well, Messina is just a dirty city with absolutley nothing to do in it. So we took a cab to Taormina which was really far away and our cab driver took us on a little tour. The whole city of Taormina is on a hillside and its so pretty. We went to some touristy shops and got gelato and then headed back to the ship.
So tommorow we head out and I'll be home around 8. Im really dreading going back to work and to the things in my life that i've been trying to avoid, but vacations can't last forever right?
