i like to rant
it gives me a relief from my chest.
i dont understand how people can be so rude to people with disabilities,
its like no matter what, no one can treat them as a human being.
they are human beings, dont you understand.
just because their brain capacity isnt as high as yours
doesnt make them any less important to our society.
it bothers me so much when people call them retards.
retard is not a word to describe the disabled.
the dictionary.com site states that the word "retard" means
a person who is stupid, obtuse, or ineffective in some way.
people that are challenged are not stupid, obtuse, or ineffective.
they are different, and for the better, they would not be themselves if they werent the way they are.
those who make fun, most likely have never spent a good day with a disabled person.
and when they do, they'll see a different side.
they'll see a human side to them
full of emotion, and worry and love.
i really dont understand how "normal" people can be so stupid and selfish
i love my mom.
for working with these kids.
and putting up with the challenge everyday.
she loves her job, and i love her for it.
the way she can make such a huge impact in a childs life.
im not saying everyone acts like this.
but a good bunch of people still have a difficult time.
