Wrote this after a conversation with a friend...
I'd like to join you in your dream world. I'd like to speak eloquent confusionn and gaze towards hidden pathways. Let our detached hearts do the navigating. And in this dream we're more comfortable in our own skin than most could imagine. We'll leap into the dreams of others and shake them out of their modern existence, but only momentarily. They don't belong outside of society for long. Not yet. But they'll have their turn. They'll find their escape, maybe just as I re-enter the atmosphere. As I'm stripped of my blissful mindset, my romantic ways fade into reality, and I settle.
We also got to sit around and record some songs of his on my phone last night, which are now on a cd. And he said he'll be working on more. It was a night that I needed. And now I'm ready to dive into the rest of my week.
