Fair...

Sep 11, 2005 04:03

Okay so AnnMarie, Dave, Lizz and I (note the proper grammar) went to the fair tonight...wait...no..it's 4 in the morning so I'll say it was LAST night.

I can't sleep at all and I don't know why so i figured I'd upload the pictures that Everybody took with AnnMarie's camera onto my computer. That meant I had to install some Kodak software that I found online, and to do that I had to make an account on their site. I hate when companies do that kind of crap. So when I got them onto my computer I figured what better than to upload them onto the internet. So I did. I'd show them all to you but...well.

Now take notice of what me and the guy in the backround are doing. That is we're silently admiring the Go-Kart you see there. It's no normal Go-Kart. It's a Go-Kart on steroids....pumped on speed...that works out alot...and..uhm...is one of the kewl kids in school. Suffice it to say it's not your av-er-age Go-Kart.
Fuck I'm sick of typing that word.

It's us in that Go-Kart ( X( there's that word again!)

As much as I'd like one of those I'm-not-typing-it-because-that-word-makes-me-angry's I'd really rather have one of these :)

So...okay...now you've seen some of the pictures. TBH I didn't upload alot of them because I didn't want to spoil AnnMarie's update because I KNOW she'll be posting them and, let's face it, her story will just be more interesting.

I feel kind of bad because we really didn't do much besides look at the Go-Kart (FUCK I SAID IT!!) and watch the truck pulls. I mean the truck pulls were, and call me a redneck if you must, fucking awesome. I never thought that watching rednecks in obsurdely modified pickup trucks try to pull a glorified block of cement would be so fun but..it was. The first truck we saw was really pathetic (I feel bad for the guy really) and only went about a foot. The next couple were only slightly less pathetic, but then they started pulling out the really ridiculous trucks. You know the one's I'm talking about, it's the ones with like four inch diameter front wheels that they must have just taken of their kid's tricycles and rear wheels that (literally) come off of tractors. One of said trucks was a Dodge Dakota that was a Mustang from the cab up and had a different colored bed. All in all it was one pathetic truck and literally had to be TOWED onto the track. It took two tries before it would start and then it got halfway down the track and starts revving hard and then you hear a realllly loud *pop* and then it's dead. That got the most cheers of all the trucks (as well as cries of sympathy and a few "YeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaws").

Then we went and played on the motor toys and then left. Went back to my place and chilled in the hot-tub then watched "Weeds" (I got to watch episodes 1 and 3 all over again) Episode 3 might just be the best half hour to ever air on television though so I didn't mind that but after 3 times of the first episode it got a bit tiring and the jokes just weren't funny anymore. Seriously though, if you've never watched the show I highly recommend it. It's on showtime, but I don't know what time it airs because I watch it OnDemand (isn't technology wonderful?).

And now I try to sleep again. :(
