Weird dream on Corporate America

I had the weirdest dream. I dreamed that my girlfriend and I were at this huge library somewhere and that I lost track of my purse. While I was looking for it, I got a call to the front desk to take a phone call. There was a computerized system on the other end explaining to me that 'my call was important to them and to please hold for the next available representative'. A guy came on the line and said that he stole my purse and that I could pay to get it back. I tried to explain that what he was doing was wrong, but he didn't care. I tried to get a place to meet him, as I intended to bring the cops with me, but he wouldn't answer, though he also wouldn't hang up. There was silence on the other end of the line and there was a phone call coming in for someone else, so I gave up and hung up. My girlfriend was due somewhere to give a speech on something, so we left.

=/

When I woke up, the first thing I did was remind myself that my purse was safe in the house.

This dream reminds me of companies like Toshiba and Bank of the America who make you hold on the line just so they can screw you over by taking what should rightfully be yours. Example: Toshiba refusing to fix their faulty products, or Bank of America clinging to justification over their unfair banking fees (think unreasonable overdraft charges).
