Well the fasting thing worked well to counter act the extra calories I consumed on the weekend but I don't want to try it again. I don't think it's the way to go for me. I think that eating a low but still filling number of calories a day and working out a lot is the best way to avoid binging and to consistently lose weight with out feeling weak/sick.
I did loose weight the past two days, probably just water, but I was 124.8 this morning so that made me happy as I had been as high as 128.5 (eew!) on the weekend. I'm expecting that I'm actually 125.something right now so I have just over 5 pounds to lose in the next three weeks if I want to meet my goal. I hope that can be done, I'd like to be 120 before we break from skating and then come back 3 weeks after that below 120, as close to 115 as possible.
I ate about 700 cals today and burned 381 while running. 2 and 1/2 hours of skating tonight as well so I'm going to eat a little more today still. My base calories for any day, not counting activity and whatever, is suppose to be something just over 1400 so I figure if I eat 800-1000 on the days I work out and 500-800 on the days I don't that it should be enough to keep me going and loosing.
Edit to add - here's my eating plan
breakfast: 2 egg whites - 33 and tea - 50
before the gym: 10 baby carrots - 43
after the gym: spaghetti - 200
before skating: Garlic beef & broccoli - 160
after skating: chicken breast - 150
Total Calories = 636
With this if I stick to it I'm eating very few and I can still eat a bit more if the urge hits me without going overboard. I'm having trouble as I keep binging lately, which I never used to do! So I figure if I start eating continuously it might help that.
