"Forgiveness is freeing up and putting to better use the energy once consumed by holding grudges, harboring resentments, and nursing unhealed wounds. It is rediscovering the strengths we always had and relocating our limitless capacity to understand and accept other people and ourselves.
-Sidney and Suzanne Simon
It's Yom Kippur.
Although I am not huge on religion, I do believe that there should be one point in the year where you should sit back and forgive.
Forgive yourself, Forgive others
This past year has been indescribable, filled with ups and downs.
Resentment took over at certain points, and it wasn't easy to get rid of it.
But this is my chance.
This is my chance to look at the past 12 months and think about every moment, every person, and every situation that upset me and let it go.
This is my chance to take all the things I hold against people, and throw them away.
This is my fresh start.
I apologize to those I have offended or hurt.
And please, EVERYONE do me this favor:
Think of the things you have done, or others have done to you.
Forgive yourself, Forgive them.
Thank you
